After 4 years of work, one of the most beautiful universities in Europe has moved into the Artillerie site, on Place Saint Thomas d’Aquin, to accommodate 10,000 students on 12 different sites.
Designed by the architects Wilmotte – Moreau Kusunoki, this project, which combines renovation and new buildings in a sober and sustainable approach, proved to be as exciting as it was demanding for Oxy.
Combining the effervescent life of the campus with the fluidity of the spaces, while managing the constraints of preserving the heritage areas (survey of positions, joints, etc.), were all challenges taken up by Oxy in collaboration with the Locomotion Agency.
Oxy unfolded all its know-how and mastery of sensitive sites to achieve the level of excellence of the prestigious university, using a variety of materials, raw steel, lacquered aluminium, printing techniques and customised installation.
